Umar Khan is the Chief Executive Officer of LeafLine Clinic, an Australian telehealth clinic that opened in May 2026. He runs the business side of the clinic: governance, systems, the patient-support team, and the way patients are screened, booked and reviewed. He also edits the articles published on this site.
He is not a clinician and takes no part in clinical decisions. Every consultation, assessment and prescribing decision at LeafLine Clinic is made by an AHPRA-registered Clinician, independently of the business.
Umar is also the Managing Director of an NDIS-registered disability support provider operating in Victoria and Queensland, and he is completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University. He writes mostly about patient rights, privacy, fees and how a clinic is governed.
