LeafLine Clinic cannot currently take on patients located in Tasmania.
Tasmanian law authorises a Clinician of our kind to prescribe certain medicines only under a written authorisation from the Secretary of the Department of Health, issued under section 25B of the Poisons Act 1971 (Tas), and LeafLine’s Clinicians do not hold that authorisation.
We would rather say so here than after you book. The eligibility check declines Tasmanian addresses so that nobody pays for a consultation that cannot proceed.

Moving here
If you are moving to Tasmania, LeafLine cannot continue your care once you are located here, because the section 25B rule depends on where you are located at the time of the consultation. Arrange a prescriber in Tasmania before the move, and ask your current clinic for a copy of your records and approval letter to take with you.

What if I am travelling in Tasmania?
The rule depends on where you are located at the time of the consultation. A consultation cannot go ahead while you are in Tasmania.
