About Linda
Linda Doherty is an AHPRA-registered Clinician with more than 25 years of nursing experience, much of it in regional New South Wales. Her career spans hospital, community and virtual care, including senior clinical leadership roles in the public health system, where she managed clinical teams, mentored and supervised clinicians, and helped build new virtual-care services from the ground up.
Much of Linda's clinical life has been spent doing careful, structured assessment in complex settings. That shows in how she consults: your history is read before you meet, screening is thorough, and every treatment decision is her own independent clinical assessment. She has consulted by video for years, and has spent a career caring for people who live a long way from the nearest clinic, which is exactly what LeafLine was built to do well.

Why LeafLine
How Linda practises
-
She reads your history first
Your intake and any records you share are reviewed before you meet, so the consultation starts from what has already been tried rather than from zero.
-
Heard properly, not rushed
Appointments are long enough to ask your questions and be heard properly. Nothing is rushed to fit a queue.
-
The same Clinician at every review
Your follow-up appointments are with Linda, not with whoever happens to be rostered. She knows what you said last time, because she was there.
-
Your GP stays in the loop
With your consent, Linda writes to your regular GP after your consultation, so the people involved in your care are working from the same picture.
Booking with Linda: common questions
Is Linda taking new patients?
Yes. New patients begin with the online eligibility check, and an appointment is booked once eligibility is confirmed. If you would like to understand how the clinic works first, you can book a free 10-minute info call with our patient-support team. No clinical advice is given on the call.
Can I move my care to LeafLine if I have been seeing a clinician elsewhere?
Many people come to us from another clinic. With your written consent, our patient-support team requests your records from your previous clinic so you are not chasing paperwork yourself. Your first appointment is a full consultation where your Clinician reviews your history and makes an independent clinical assessment. Nothing carries over automatically. Our changing clinics page explains the process step by step.
What does a consultation cost?
An initial consultation is $79. Follow-up consultations are $59 to $69 depending on length. Every fee, including the cancellation policy, is published on the fees page before you book.
Where does Linda consult?
