Why we charge a consultation fee
Parts of Australian telehealth are vertically integrated: one group owns the clinic, the product range its prescribers work from, and sometimes the pharmacy that dispenses. In that model the consultation can be priced as a doorway, because the revenue sits further down the chain.
LeafLine Clinic is a clinic and nothing else. We do not manufacture anything, we do not keep a house catalogue, and we do not own a pharmacy. The fees on this page are how the clinic is funded. That structure is deliberate: when the fee is the business, the consultation has to be worth your time, and the advice in it answers to you.

Brand agnostic by design
Our Clinicians have no house range to favour. Recommendations rest on clinical grounds and your circumstances alone.

Independent of dispensing
Prescriptions issue as e-scripts and are dispensed by Australian pharmacies, separately from us. Medication pricing sits with the pharmacy alone.

Funded by the fee, nothing else
Published prices, paid at booking, refunded in full if your initial consultation finds we are not suitable for you. That is the whole model.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before appointment
- Full refund or option to reschedule without penalty.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of appointment
- May incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation fee.
- No-show policy
- Failure to attend without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the full consultation fee.
- Late arrivals
- If you join more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be considered a no-show. The full consultation fee will still apply.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the consultation fee?
The consultation fee covers your appointment with an AHPRA-registered Clinician, including clinical assessment, discussion of treatment options, and development of a care plan if appropriate. The fee does not include any prescribed medications, which are priced separately by dispensing pharmacies.
Are follow-up consultations required?
If treatment is commenced, follow-up consultations are important for monitoring safety, effectiveness, and making any necessary adjustments. Your clinician will recommend an appropriate follow-up schedule based on your individual circumstances.
Can I claim through private health insurance?
Some private health insurers may provide rebates for telehealth consultations. Coverage varies significantly between insurers and policies. We recommend contacting your insurer directly to enquire about telehealth consultation rebates.
Are medications covered by the PBS?
Currently, most prescription therapies discussed during LeafLine Clinic consultations are not PBS-listed. Medication costs are determined by dispensing pharmacies and vary depending on the specific products prescribed.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards and debit cards for consultation fees. Payment is required at the time of booking. Medication costs are paid directly to the dispensing pharmacy.

Payment plans may be available in certain circumstances. Please contact our support team to discuss options that may suit your situation.
